Thanksgiving #2 outfit: beat up but cozy slouchy black boots, black tights, and a gray sweater dress accessorized with a chunky plastic bead necklace and handmade bead and wire bracelet with a pink ribbon to tie back my mane. The pink button bracelet I put on this morning snapped—a new project to fix.
We’re in the midst of traveling between families, so the photo of yesterday’s outfit has not met with a compatible computer yet, but it is forthcoming! Again, these pesky logistics!
Got my second square in the CP Friendship Granny Exchange from Donna in CA. Love the colors together. Not solid white, though, so it will either be the center, part of the border if I get others with color in them, or part of a different blanket. The more the merrier! :)

The strip I got done on Tuesday for Casey’s blanket. Can’t decide whether or not to keep it or frog it.
Well, I guess this will be the done size, then. It covers a large majority of the top of a full-sized bed. Not bad. Still have no idea what I’m going to do with it. And I’m irked by some of the mistakes I made (skipped half a strip, don’t think it’s actually rectangular) so I don’t know where that leaves me. I am looking forward to putting the border on, EXCEPT I started making this as a wedding gift for a wedding I didn’t end up getting invited to… back in 2009. So I shelved it, and now I have no idea where the pattern came from. I’d like to get the border done tomorrow so I can continue to feel accomplished in busting through my UFOs, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to pull it off. Help!
Done my squares for the CP Friendship Granny exchange! The bottom three were special requests: (red, white & blue; Christmas themed; autumn colors) and the top two are squares I’ve had made and waiting for a loving home. Can’t wait to get my first five in the mail! :)
